Virginia “Flash” Reynolds has a passion for learning and a deep love of culture. She enjoys participating in the educational programs on campus and values The Glebe’s commitment to life-long learning. An avid reader, she heads up The Glebe’s book club and indulges her interest in acting as a member of The Glebe Players theater group.
Flash is also an accomplished artist and has taken painting classes throughout her life. When she came to The Glebe, she was thrilled that the community provides on-site art teachers and painting classes, enabling her to continue honing her artistic talents. In addition, she takes pleasure in attending musical performances and can be found waltzing across the dance floor during her ballroom dancing classes at The Glebe.
The former realtor and business owner moved to The Glebe in 2006 from Buena Vista. Her own two-story house was the last real estate sale she completed before retiring. ‘I couldn’t be more pleased with my decision to move to The Glebe. I never stop. There are so many things to do here that I love,” she said. Also among her loves are spending time with friends and serving as an active member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, located a short drive from the community.
