Alan McNutt
Director of Support Services
Alan McNutt was born here in Roanoke, graduated from Northside High School and has lived in the area all his life. He currently lives in beautiful Botetourt County. From 1983 to 2004 he owned and operated Star City Home Improvement Inc., a remodeling business. In 2004, he moved into the new construction field, building residential homes until the housing market began to recede. In December of 2008, Alan came to The Glebe as a maintenance technician and has since been promoted to Director of Support Services. Along the way, he studied and acquired a class “A” contractor’s license and an HVAC license for repair of refrigeration equipment. Alan has two children and have been married for 29 years to his wonderful wife, Julie, who is also employed at The Glebe. They both love people and would love for you to come to meet them and experience The Glebe and Botetourt County’s warm hospitality.
